Joe Smith first started in the mortgage business in 2002 as a loan officer.  He quickly established himself as a top producer and top producing branch manager, eventually managing the state of Arizona for a top 10 mortgage lender.  After 17yrs in traditional retail banking, working for many top companies in the mortgage business he decided to make a jump to becoming a mortgage broker.  He found the market and his customer base led him to a more efficient and cost effective way to do a loan, which is via the various lenders available in the broker channel.  From this need, Epic Mortgage was formed.

Joe grew up in New York, about 30 miles north of New York City where he learned the benefits of hard work and taking care of people.  He graduated Arizona State University and after experiencing the beauty of Arizona, decided to call this home.  He is married to his wife Keri and has two boys, Jackson and Baron.  Joe spends any free time he has watching his boys play sports.  You can find him in the Hamilton High School Football booth as the announcer during football season or in the bleachers for a baseball game during baseball season with Keri.

Joe has an amazing customer base, 70% of the loans he does is referred from past clients.  After one conversation with Joe you will understand why he is one of the best in his field and why his clients come back time and again!
